Cultivating Hope in 2024: A New Year Message

from the Coalition for Fire Fund Fairness

Empowering a Fair Future

Happy New Year Mi Gente y La Communidad de CFFF! As we embark on the journey that is 2024, the Coalition for Fire Fund Fairness is resolute in our commitment to championing fairness and compassion. This year, our focus remains unwavering – demanding just compensation for victims, acknowledgment of non-economic damages, and for the overall alleviation of the pain and suffering of those affected.

We advocate for timely responses from FEMA, urging swift compensation for victims. Our vision extends beyond this – we call for a change in leadership. We believe that a local appointee, well-versed in New Mexico Law, should assume the role of FEMA Administrator. This individual, ideally a retired lawyer, judge, or someone familiar with our state’s history and culture, will bring fairness and justice to the claims process.
